High quality Jelly candle wax. it can be made very beautiful by adding embellishments like pigments, sea shells, pebbles, flowers, beads and many other natural things.

Jelly wax, also known as gel wax, is a clear, dimensionally stable, jelly-like material made for candles. It has a melting point between 75°C and 85°C. This wax can be used to create a variety of special effects and is also suitable for making decorative container candles. It can be dyed, have fragrances added and items embedded in it.

Jelly Wax is slow burning, has a high heat melting point & the use of a thermometer is recommended when making candles.

Heating above 95°C may cause discolouration. Stir through out the melting process.

DO NOT USE MICROWAVE 

Start with small batches until you are familiar with the product & process

Please Note: Embeds MUST be flame resistant, glass, stones shells etc. Testing fragrance in small batches is recommended

To create floating objects, pour the wax in different layers. The faster you pour, the more air bubble there will be. It is ideal for creating beach scenes, aquariums, underwater scenes and tropical sodas.

Fragrance will need to be tested because of the high pour temp

Double boiler may not reach required Temp, carefully attended direct heat may need to be used.

Mixing and blending other ingredients into the gel: 93-105° C
Pouring the gel from one container into another: 85-95° C
Loss of Air Bubbles: 75-85° C
Stiffening of the liquid into a gel structure: 60-75° C
Oven temp for removal of air bubbles from the gel base: 55-70°C (This can also be accomplished by sitting candle in a sunny windowsill)
