Organic Bentonite Clay

Discover the pure, detoxifying power of our Organic Bentonite Clay, a high-purity Sodium Bentonite sourced from ancient volcanic ash deposits in Australia. Processed using only water to ensure minimal impurities and grit, this finely milled clay (45 microns) is silky smooth and ideal for your natural skincare creations. Bentonite clay produces a negative electrical charge when hydrated, enabling it to bind toxins and free radicals.

This Bentonite Clay, also known as Montmorillonite, is rich in minerals like calcium, magnesium, silica, sodium, copper, iron, and potassium. When mixed with water, it swells into a porous, sponge-like structure, attracting and absorbing toxins, heavy metals, and impurities while neutralizing free radicals that can damage skin and accelerate aging.

It’s a natural choice for DIY face masks, soaps, and bath blends, delivering refreshed and revitalized skin for Kiwi crafters.

Mix 1-2 teaspoons of clay with water or a carrier oil to form a paste for a facial mask. For soaps, blend into your base at a rate of 5-10% before pouring into molds. Always test small batches to perfect your recipe.

For external use only. Test with other ingredients to ensure stability, as natural additives may affect results. Store in a cool, dry place.

Tips:

  • With any of these methods, do not use metal utensils or storage as this could reduce its potency.
  • It is best to sprinkle the clay onto liquid, rather than pour liquid onto clay. It will hydrate more evenly.
